My research has examined the role of contextual and individual factors in the development of L2 speech with a focus on L2 pronunciation and speaking fluency. I am interested in understanding how cognitive and emotional individual differences shape the development of L2 pronunciation and interact with learning contexts and instructional methods.

My current research interests focus on phonetic training methods, multimodal pronunciation training through audiovisual input, the relationship between phonological learning and the mental lexicon, and the effectiveness of pronunciation teaching and learning methods and techniques in instructed SLA.
